Square Silk Scarf

Maison Nazanin - Lovers Embrace - 100% Silk Scarf

This celebrated painting by Reza Abbasi, which we call Lovers’ Embrace, captures a moment of intimacy rendered with extraordinary delicacy and grace.

Tender yet poised, the two figures are held in a quiet embrace, their closeness expressed through fluid line, subtle gesture, and harmonious form. The design carries a sense of warmth and human connection, bringing both artistry and feeling into silk.

Reimagined here on pure twill silk, the scarf offers a softly structured drape with a smooth hand and elegant finish. Its versatile square format makes it easy to style, whether worn simply or as a statement piece.

• 100% pure twill silk
• Hand-rolled hems
• Smooth finish with softly structured drape
• Elegant square format for versatile styling
• 90 x 90 cm
• Crafted in small production runs

Reza Abbasi (1565–1635) revolutionized Persian painting. Signed by the artist centre left, this particular painting was done toward the end of his long, successful career at the Safavid court. The subject reflects the newly relaxed attitude to sensuality introduced during the reign of Shah Safi (r. 1629–42) who followed Shah Abbas I (r. 1588-1629).

The painting is now in the possession of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City.
