About the Collection
The cross roads of life
Our debut collection draws its soul from the luminous world of Persian miniature painting, primarily from the Safavid Era (1501–1736). It was this tradition that first ignited Nazanin’s love of art—at a small evening class in Tehran, where she learned to paint delicate stories in tiny frames.
The themes of this range—Love, War, Nature, Beauty, Fantasy—are now reborn in silk. Meant to be worn, yes—but also to be seen, contemplated, even framed as art. Where Persian text appears, each piece is accompanied by an English poetic translation—in rhymed couplets or sonnet style—crafted not only to reflect the meaning but also echo the poetic spirit of the original.
Our collections also features four black-and-white designs: Nazanin’s reinterpretations of Safavid drawings. Bold, minimalist, and modern, they offer an entirely new visual language while honouring the past. Though conceived as wall art, they carry just as much elegance when worn.
Two scarves pay tribute to the timeless words of Jami and Nizami—two of Persia’s greatest love poets. Their verses are translated and included with each scarf, preserving their rhythmic heartbeat for those who don’t read Persian, but want to feel its passion.
Finally, four scarves are entirely original—born from Nazanin’s own imagination. Contemporary, poetic, and unbound by reference, they are perhaps the purest expression of her vision.
