Questa sciarpa presenta il ritratto di un giovane, seduto a terra con un uccello appollaiato sulla mano destra e un frutto (forse un melograno) tenuto nella sinistra. Il ritratto è incorniciato da uno sfondo elaborato di una foresta popolata da animali e uccelli. È stato dipinto nel tardo XVI secolo da un artista persiano sconosciuto.

This scarf contains a portrait of a young man, seated on the ground with a bird perched on his right hand and a fruit (perhaps a pomegranate) held in his left. The portrait is framed within an elaborate background of a forest populated by animals and birds. It was painted in the late 16th Century by an unknown Persian artist.
