Il disegno di questa sciarpa è la nostra interpretazione di un disegno del primo XVII secolo di un artista persiano sconosciuto. L'abbiamo chiamato "Amanti" perché sembrerebbe rappresentare un uomo e una donna in un contesto romantico. Ma potrebbe anche rappresentare il tema della poesia e dei poeti, che erano una parte altrettanto importante delle tradizioni artistiche e culturali della Persia quanto lo era la pittura in miniatura.

The design on this scarf is our interpretation of an early 17th Century drawing by an unknown Persian artist. We have given it the name “Lovers” as it would appear to represent a man and a woman in a romantic environment. But it could also represent the theme of poetry and poets, who were as important a part of Persia’s artistic and cultural traditions as was miniature painting.
