Aurora

Aurora is a hand-thrown porcelain vessel by Margaret O'Rorke, which Nazanin transformed into light using an invention of Moritz Waldemeyer. Illuminated from within by a flickering LED candle, it evokes the first light of dawn, from which it takes its name. Perfect for a romantic dinner, or for a patio party on a warm summer evening.

The vase comprises two key components. The first is the fine ceramic vase itself, hand thrown by Margaret O'Rorke in her Oxford studio. Being translucent, it allows the light of the LED candle inside to permeate through the thin wall of the vase The second is the LED lamp inside, an invention by Moritiz Waldemeyer, which recreates the light of a flickering candle, can be easily removed and recharged using a USB-C cable.

The Aurora vase is the result of the collaboration between ceramic artist Margaret O'Rorke, lighting designer Moritz Waldemeyer and Maison Nazanin. Each vessel is individually hand-crafted and illuminated by a rechargeable LED candle, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary lighting design.

Clean the porcelain with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the LED module in water. Recharge using the supplied USB-C cable. Store indoors and handle with care, as each vessel is individually handmade.
